March Madness!!
It's that wonderful time of year - the NCAA men's basketball tournament. My American University Eagles lost -- as expected -- to Tennessee. I was on a flight during the game, but my pal Brett, aka The Cranky Flier, said it was good to watch for awhile. And I'm on two bracket tournaments -- one on Facebook and one on Yahoo! under the name GoAU Fan. I screwed the pooch on Yahoo, since I forgot to pick a winner - I meant to choose North Carolina.On Yahoo, I have 14 of 24 picks and I'm in 10th place in the Clemson Alumni Friends and Family team (my friend Rob -- also on Facebook -- is a Clemson grad and big fan). I've gotten 16 right on my Facebook bracket. I'm dying in the South and West brackets. I placed too much faith in Kentucky and Temple in the South, and Connecticut and Baylor in the West. We'll see how I'm doing after the weekend.
On the weight front - I lost 0.8 lbs, for a grand total of 20.8 lbs. I consider every ounce dropped a victory, so I'm just pushing forward. And thanks again to Sean for the words of encouragement. I have now dropped from a size 28 to a size 22, and the 22s are already feeling loose. I wish you all a very happy Easter!
